Cookie policy

Cookies

We use cookies exclusively to monitor and analyse the number of visitors to our website. For this purpose, we rely on third-party services – specifically, Google and its tool Google Analytics, and Meta and its tool Meta Pixel.

These tools may collect personal data such as your IP address, browser details, and user behaviour on the site. This data may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC and Meta Platforms Inc., potentially outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These analytical and marketing cookies are only activated if you give your explicit consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or modify your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website.

What is Meta Pixel?

Meta Pixel is an analytics tool provided by Meta (formerly Facebook) that allows us to track the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding how users interact with our website. It helps us measure conversions, optimise ad delivery, and build targeted audiences for future campaigns.

How Google uses cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website sends to your browser. It enables the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language and other settings. This can make your next visit more efficient and enjoyable. Cookies are important – without them, browsing the web would be significantly more difficult.

Terms and Conditions

The Client acknowledges that the Lawyer, in connection with the provision of legal services, will process their personal data (if the Client is a natural person). This includes: full name, date of birth, national ID number, residential address, company ID (if applicable), telephone number, and email address. Where the Client provides contact details of other individuals (e.g. as a legal entity), the Lawyer will process the personal data of those contact persons as well – namely their name, phone number, and email address. Should the Client provide any additional personal data necessary for the provision of legal services (e.g. bank account number), such data will also be processed.

The processing of personal data is carried out on the following legal bases:

Personal data will be processed for the duration of the client relationship and for as long as necessary thereafter to comply with legal and professional obligations, including tax and accounting requirements, and to manage and defend legal claims.

Processing will take place in accordance with applicable legislation, particularly Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

The Client has the right to request access to their personal data, rectification or erasure of such data, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. The Client also has the right to be informed if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms, all in accordance with Articles 15–22 and 34 of the GDPR. These rights also apply to contact persons whose data is processed.

In the event of a complaint, the Client may contact the supervisory authority – the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), www.uoou.cz.

The Lawyer will store personal data on computers and in documents generated in the course of providing legal services and issuing invoices. The Lawyer will disclose personal data only if there is a lawful basis to do so – for example, to public authorities with legal entitlement, or to defend legal rights (such as in court). Personal data may also be accessed by employees and collaborating lawyers who require it to perform their work, or by data processors acting on behalf of the Lawyer.

The Lawyer has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised or accidental access, alteration, destruction, loss, transmission, or misuse of personal data.
